CUMULUS(International Association for Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media)  (http://www.cumulusassociation.org)

Cumulus is the only global association to serve art and design education and research. It is a forum for partnership and transfer of knowledge and best practices. Cumulus consists currently of 340 members from 61 countries

The school joined CUMULUS in 2010 and since then has been an active member of CUMULUS. And the school has successfully hosted the 2018 CUMULUS Conference (http://cumuluswuxi2018.org).

DESIS (Design for Social Innovation towards Sustainability) (www.desis-network.org)

DESIS  Network is a network of design labs, based in design schools and design-oriented universities, actively involved in promoting and supporting sustainable change.

DESIS Lab of Jiangnan University is part of “Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability (DESIS)” network association (www.desis-network.org) and DESIS-China as a founding member. It’s a design lab engaging in research, teaching, and social services focusing on strategic design for sustainability, multidisciplinary design and social innovation crossing the fields of food, mobility, active welfare, healthcare, and cultural heritages.

GIDE Network (Group for International Design Education) (http://gidegroup.wordpress.com/)

GIDE – Group for International Design Education – is an international consortium of higher education design schools, which work together in order to promote international exchanges and to give the possibility to compare skills, content and quality of the study programmes enriching the experience of students in the areas of interior and interdisciplinary design. The group consists of main partner colleges in Italy (Politecnico di Milano), the UK (Leeds College of Art and Design), the Netherlands (Academy of art and design St. Joost Breda), Switzerland (SUPSI-University of Applied Sciences and Art of Southern Switzerland), Belgium (Thomasnore University of Applied Sciences), Germany (University of Applied Sciences Magdeburg-Stendal), the UK (University of Dundee, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design), Republika Slovenija (Faculty of Design, University of Primorska), and China（School of Design, Jiangnan University)(associate memeber). Jiangnan University is the only member outside Europe and has been actively engaged in the GIDE Network since 2014.
